Working on the Development of Low-Cost Methods for Monitoring and Early Warning of Geohazards project, focusing on seismic monitoring systems and earthquake and landslide early warning.
Highlights:
- •Grant: Secured a competitive research grant of $12,000 from BUET for project funding
- •BUET Low-Cost Accelerometer (BLCA) device validated via shake table test
- •Deployed 6 BLCAs across 4 districts in Bangladesh, recording continuous seismic data
- •Recorded the first earthquake (31 July 2025) with a BLCA unit at CUET
- •Designed embedded systems using C/C++ and Python
- •Implemented Microsoft Azure cloud architecture for data management
- •Developing a community seismic network
